I can imagine what kind of people will be interested in this ad. I mean, the primary target demographic of this ad might be neither tattoo lovers nor aspiring tattoo businesses, but certainly be either of the following or some combination of them;

• Those who don’t have a real job
• Those who think tattooists are a higher-paying job than theirs
• Those who think tattoos are cool
• Those who can somehow afford their “lessons” that cost $300-several thousand dollars
• Those who only speak Japanese

It’s never shown details of their offerings, such as the facility, apparatus, or curriculum, nor explained what the merit would be in the first place to learn tattooing at their school. Naturally, after watching it, there is nothing I want to do other than imagine what intention there is behind the ad and what their business model looks like.

Through this job listing company (kinda), the existing tattooist businesses can hire people at zero cost, or even cheaper than zero, as the future employees will pay for their own job training, I guess.

In the same way as their video, the ad thumbnail in wide format shown below weirdly repeats “tattoo school” in every line. Being a school, is that the only selling point? Like, being a legit school run by a legit corporation, unlike the negative stereotype of a shabby tattoo place that dwells in a dilapidated residential building. Anyway, it’s a kind of school, but I don’t see any proof that it’s a legally certified school organization. Sounds legit.
