The markers on Google Maps below are of all the places I’ve seen, so far, the vending machines around Tokyo that sell my favorite canned coffee Pokka “冴えるBLACK (Saeru BLACK)”. I’m not a coffee enthusiast, and mostly can’t taste the difference from other brands. But this one weirdly tastes a little milky to me, even though it’s just coffee with some extra added caffeine and emulsifier with no fat and no protein.
Deleted:Unfortunately, it’s not sold at any major convenience stores, and available for me only at street vending machines, where I always buy one or two whenever passing by. I hope it will become more popular and more available.
(Update on Mar 9, 2026) Sad news. Their main distributor Pokka Sapporo is leaving the market.
