Our AI Manipulates your Financials. You’ll Love it, Feed it

If you decided to hire a real estate negotiation agent instead of negotiating with individual buyers, you have to first negotiate with those agents. It’s already burdensome, but these agents decided to add another layer of burden for sellers. Their ads proudly recommend you provide basic information about your real estate so that their AIs enable you to take advantage against “fair price” in their marketplace.

Sounds awesome? But it gets strange if you click on whichever one of them, as they all respond in the same way, like this:

“Using AI, my real estate was sold quicker, higher”
(Original Japanese: AI使ったら不動産が早く高く売れちゃった)

Linked website: https://www.how-ma.com/lp2/index-b
“Open the door to ‘Above the fair price’ for your price negotiation!”
(Original Japanese: “適正価格以上”を狙う価格交渉が可能に)

Despite of the appearance of the AI-chatbot-ish screen, it never provides any intelligent interaction with you but simply shows the input forms one by one. However, they want you to call the woman in the little avatar image “Ms. Harada” with great respect as an intelligent, concious entity. Of course, Ms. Harada demands your email address at the end of our passionate exchange. I don’t know if I should worry about being manipulated by an actually highly developed AI that can mimic an fake AI pretending to be a real AI.

“You are going to sell your apartment building, right? I’m Harada, who is in charge of your real estate appraisal”
今回お手伝いさせていただく査定担当の原田です”
