They (🔗previous post) still keep popping up in my YouTube feed, and I keep clicking on them just to waste their budget. I’m not so eager, but occasionally in the mood to report to Google. And when I do, mostly they are gone in a few days. I’m realizing they are not that lazy as I thought before.
Now, this is a brand-new advertiser that came around today.

Sponsored: travelescapadey

Advertiser: Paid for by AERGLO LIGHTING PRIVATE LIMITED
Location: India
It seems to still be in the Google Ads approval process, as it shows their dummy content. It looks like a legitimate business website…or, does it?

Just take a second look, and you’ll see something is off. The titles and sentences in the articles are barely grammatically correct but full of unsophisticated, awkward syntax. They are not even written in Japanese, except for the last two articles. More importantly, why am I seeing a travel agency’s website in the first place?
24 hours later, the advertised URL is already redirected to their regular fake media outlet “Gooニュース”. Unlike before, their funny business is no longer situated on the original domain, retaining the original content on the original website.
This is such a smart move as it will secure the original domain from getting flagged as an unsafe website along with the scam site. It may also help to maintain their Google Ads account.
But sorry, I don’t think the system works that way.
